Growing up in a Persian household in the rainy Seattle suburbs, I learned how to cook cozy, comforting Persian dishes from my parents.

From endless platters of saffron rice to hearty stews that warm the soul, I love sharing the dishes of my childhood with those who may not have tried it before, or perhaps stumbled upon it and hope to replicate it in their own home kitchens. 

As we say in Persian, noosheh jaan or may it nourish your soul!
